NURSE LED CLINIC

CONSULTATION

A consultation starts your journey with us at our nurse led clinic. This session allows us to discuss your aesthetic goals, obtain a medical history, perform a facial/skin assessment, and determine suitability for treatments in our clinic. We prioritize educating you about the ageing process, skin care, skin health, and various treatments, including chemical peels and medical grade microneedling, along with their side effects and risk factors.

During this consultation, we can show you our work, discuss pricing, and develop an individual treatment plan tailored for you, including options like Rejuran treatment.

This is also a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, helping you decide if Registered Nurse Hanh is the right cosmetic nurse for you.

REJURAN

What is it?

A new injectable treatment has arrived in Australia, designed to rejuvenate the skin through innovative methods. This Rejuran treatment utilizes Polynucleotides, which are DNA fragments derived from wild salmon. When administered, these Polynucleotides stimulate regeneration and repair damaged skin while effectively reducing inflammation. This treatment can specifically address the delicate area under our eyes, targeting concerns such as dark circles, crepey skin, and fine lines and wrinkles—issues that many other treatments, including chemical peels and medical grade microneedling, often overlook. Additionally, Rejuran can effectively improve the appearance of scars, including facial acne scars and surgical scars, enhancing overall skin quality. For optimal results, consider scheduling skin consultations at a nurse led clinic to explore how this treatment can benefit your unique skin needs.

What does it involve?

Before beginning any treatment, including Rejuran treatment, a thorough consultation will take place to ensure you are medically suitable for the procedure. Our nurse led clinic also offers skin consultations to discuss your specific needs. This treatment involves medical grade microneedling, which requires micro dose injections just beneath the skin. To enhance your comfort during the procedure, we provide numbing cream or distraction tools in our clinic.

How many treatments will I require?

Depending on your skin concerns, you may require 2-3 treatments of chemical peels or medical grade microneedling spaced 2-4 weeks apart at our nurse led clinic. To maintain results, consider a Rejuran treatment or regular skin consultations, with one treatment every 6-12 months.

What is the price for a treatment?

Treatment starts at $650, whether you’re interested in chemical peels, medical grade microneedling, or Rejuran treatment. Our nurse led clinic also offers personalized skin consultations to help you choose the best option for your skincare needs.

What can I expect after treatment?

Redness (erythema) or itching of the skin may occur after treatments such as chemical peels or medical grade microneedling. Visible injection marks or small bumps/lumps will be present immediately after procedures like Rejuran treatment but will subside in 1-2 days. Additionally, minor flaking, dryness, and peeling may last several days, which can be discussed during skin consultations at our nurse led clinic.

Aftercare

After undergoing treatments like chemical peels or medical grade microneedling at our nurse led clinic, avoid heat induced activities such as exercise, saunas, spas, and hot baths for 24 hours. It's important to avoid rubbing or touching the area. If you experience swelling or inflammation, a cool compress may be applied. Additionally, remember to apply sunscreen to ensure your skin is protected from the sun and to prevent pigmentation, especially after procedures like Rejuran treatment. For personalized advice, consider booking a skin consultation.

Medical Grade CHEMICAL PEELS

From $70

Chemical skin peels are designed to effectively remove dead skin cells from the superficial layer of your skin, and they can also penetrate deeper into the dermal layer to break down the bonds between skin cells in a controlled manner. These chemical peels can vary based on their ingredient composition, strength, and mechanism of action. They promote skin cell renewal and stimulate the regeneration of collagen and elastin, addressing various skin concerns such as dull skin, pigmentation, acne, fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, and overall skin appearance.

With our nurse led clinic, you can enjoy a safe, quick, and effective way to achieve an instant glow with a chemical peel.

How often can I have a peel?

The frequency of your chemical peel treatments will depend on your specific skin concerns and skin type. Some protocols recommend treatments every 2 weeks for up to 4 sessions, while others suggest every 4-6 weeks.

Are you worried about downtime or side effects?

Most of our peels feature minimal to no downtime, meaning your skin won’t be shedding excessively like a snake. However, you may experience some mild effects such as:

- Erythema (redness resembling a sunburn)

- Skin tightness

- Dryness

- Itching, irritation, or mild burning sensations

- Flaking

- Breakouts

Please note that different types of peels may have varying downtime for skin recovery and healing. Skin preparation may be necessary prior to your peel as advised by your practitioner.

At FYG, we are proud to offer and stock two exceptional brands: Dermaceutic and SkinCareDoctor.

Medical Grade MICRONEEDLING/SKIN-NEEDLING

Price starting from $350

At FYG, we utilize the SkinPen Precision medical grade microneedling device, which is TGA and FDA approved, for our microneedling treatments. This advanced technology is an excellent alternative to chemical peels, providing effective results without the use of heat or harsh chemicals.

Who is it for?

This minimally invasive treatment is ideal for targeting a variety of skin concerns, including ageing skin, acne scars, pigmentation, enlarged pores, stretch marks, and other types of scars. It promotes firmer, thicker, radiant, and even skin, making it a perfect option for those seeking a gentle approach.

How does it work?

The medical grade microneedling device creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate the body's natural wound healing process, generating up to 1600 micro channels per second! This process enhances cell turnover and boosts collagen and elastin production, serving as the re-set your skin has been longing for.

Where can it be used?

Microneedling can be performed on nearly all areas of the body, but popular areas include the face, neck, décolletage, and back of the hands. At our nurse led clinic, we also offer skin consultations to determine the best treatment plan for your needs.

How many sessions will I require?

The number of sessions will vary depending on individual factors such as age, skin type, and specific skin concerns. Generally, a minimum of 3-4 sessions is recommended, with up to 6 sessions to achieve your desired results. Regular maintenance treatments may be necessary to maintain those results, including options like Rejuran treatment.

How often can I have a treatment?

You can schedule a microneedling treatment every 4-6 weeks to ensure optimal skin health.

Does it hurt?

While some discomfort may be experienced in different areas of the face or body, it is generally tolerable. In our clinic, we provide distraction tools to enhance your comfort during the treatments.
